The LBPA studies processes from molecules to cells and tissues, including structural biology, molecular biophysics and cell imaging approaches, with applications in human health.
The research groups at the LBPA study mechanisms of protein-protein, protein-nucleic acid and protein-membrane interactions. They also develop technologies for studying molecular interactions and study small molecules with therapeutic or diagnosis potential.
The LBPA is part of the Institut d'Alembert, an interdisciplinary Federation of ENS Paris-Saclay which also includes the SATIE, PPSM and LPQM.
