COMMENTARY ON OUR ARTICLE! A commentary by John Hancock on our article, entitled "Lipid sorting and the activity of Arf signaling complexes", has been published in PNAS!

ART OF SCIENCE! A stamp to celebrate our article in PNAS!
It is a long-standing tradition in John Kuriyan's lab that the first authors design a stamp about their work and their country. This one is Agata's with the crowned Polish eagle. 

CONFERENCE!  Jorge Navaza was at the Conference on methods and applications in the frontier between MX and Cryo-EM in Barcelona 17-21 September 2017.

The Nobel prize in Chemistry 2017 was awarded on October 4th to Jacques Dubochet, Joachim Franck and Richard Henderson for developing cryo-electron microscopy for the high resolution structure determination of biomolecules in solution. A fantastic day for structural biology! Blow up the picture to see Jorge and a future Nobel prize laureate!

THEY'RE VISITING OUR LAB! We were delighted to host Dr Jeff Martell, from the Miller Institute in Berkeley, and Monica Neugebauer (University of California, Berkeley). Jeff gave a beautiful talk on his work on engineered heme peroxidases as genetically encoded probes with diverse applications in cell biology (19th May 2017)

WELCOME! February 2017. Jahnavi and Rudolf joined our lab for a Master internship.

Jahnavi Cheekireddy obtained a M.Sc in Pharmaceutical Sciences at  the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT University), Vellore, India. She is a laureate of the International Program of the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay. Rudolf Hergesheimer obtained a M.Sc. in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). He has been awarded an Advanced Student grant by the Fulbright Franco-American Program.

CONFERENCE! January 20, 2017. Agata Nawrotek gave a talk at the 12th SOLEIL Users' Meeting.
